Will Windows 10 fare better than Windows 8? -- Tech Roundtable

VENICE BEACH, Calif. - For years, buyers have been hesitant to move up to new computer working systems, regardless of the guarantees of new featuresWould they react in a different way if the product was free? Microsoft is taking a striking bet that they will, when it discharges Windows 10, the most recent version of the Windows system, in the fall. This is a huge change from how Microsoft has constantly done it, typically charging $100 or somewhere in the vicinity for the redesign.

In the current week's #talkingtech podcast, we investigate how purchasers will toll, with an extraordinary roundtable of people from the tech startup Silicon Beach range here, including Peter Pham, the fellow benefactor of incubator Science, Inc., Aaron Hirschhorn, the founder of Dogvacay and Stage's Evan Lowenstein, the previous pop star ("Crazy for this Girl") turned tech tycoon.

Microsoft has a new idea now. Instead of charging $100 dollars they will follow apple footsteps and give windows 10 for free. This was a very hot topic at the roundtable where such renowned people were sitting. They said it’s a smart idea since it will get everyone to upgrade it and then obviously when people will get apps etc, the Microsoft would make money as well so it’s feasible none the less.
